Wesley Nicula helps in the pantry (3)To get started, I’ll tell you why I said yes when my grandma Sue Kelly asked me if I wanted to go to help in the food pantry. I wanted to help people in need of food.

I was nervous at first, but when it started I had lot of fun. I didn’t think I was going to like it, but I did! It was lots of fun to help in the pantry. I checked off the items the customer got. I helped put juice, applesauce, granola bars, crackers in and random items like hot chocolate or an oatmeal-bar. Pantry challenge

Also we put them in decorated bags and I helped pass them out. It was hard because sometimes I couldn’t find the item on the chart. It is good for Grace Church to this to help people in need of it and to show God love and respect. Last of all, not just kids should help in the pantry. Everybody should be encouraged to help.
