Dear People of God at Grace,
It has come to our attention that some of the parish has yet to receive the annual stewardship mailing, so this is the mailing we sent out to you. Note below there are some links to the materials that was included in the mailing for your review.
The Stewardship Ministry Team sees its ministry as helping our church family to walk the on the spiritual path through giving. It is through our individual and collective giving that we are loyal to our calling by God to advance the Gospel in our area and the world.
As you know, all things come from God. For this we are grateful and we express that gratitude to others so that we can all be inspired and built up to do great things in God’s Kingdom. While you are doing your ministry or just having a cup of coffee, look in the parish hall and see the Gratitude Wall and wander through the wash of things that people at Grace are thankful for. God is good and Grace Happens Here. It is an attitude of gratitude that propels our faith and moves us forward in greater service.
The ministries of Grace Church came together at our rousingly successful Ministry Fair. The Fair provided the means for the Holy Spirit to show us all that is happening in ministry here, amazed us at all of the activity to advance Jesus, and called people out to serve. You will see more about these ministries. We encourage you to listen to God and step out in further service.
We, now ask you to consider your financial giving as a graceful act of faith. Over the coming weeks you will discover anew:
- Grace Happens Here in our 60+ ministries
- Grace Happens Here in Worship and Prayer
- Grace Happens Here in Faithfulness through our ongoing support of the Gospel in our parish, diocese, and the world.
- Grace Happens Here in Financial Giving as an act of faith and an expression of that faith.
In these coming weeks we invite you to prayerfully reflect on everything God has given you and pledge to the work of God’s ministry here through your time, talent, and financial gift to this grand work. Commitment Sunday will be held at worship on November 15 at 10:00 am as part of the unified worship service where we will gather our pledges and commitment to our shared work together because Grace Happens Here!
Please prayerfully consider your pledge and gifts to the ministry of Grace. Contact any team member if you need some assistance in making your pledge. On the top of the page in the search field, please type in “Stewardship” for more resources for your giving decisions.
God’s Richest Blessings,
for the Grace Stewardship Ministry Team
